Final editing session
We now had a limited time to finish our editing. Whilst editing in the last two session we found that our short film had gone over the specified time allocated of 5 minutes. We were over by about 2 minutes. Our teacher had helped us dramatically by cutting out some shots which were maybe irrelevant but saved us time. The process was painful because so many shots were removed at once. As the day ended our time was running our. Our short film was almost complete but we had to work hard in the last 30mins to get the last scenes together.
10mins before the deadline we found that we had complete, so we decided to add extra bloopers at the end for audience purposes.

Editing session
In this session we found that the problems with the lighting issue was a major setback. We had to get help from the technician to help us colour correct. There was more issues which was the frames per second on the cameras. When we opened files from the first day of footage and tried to merge it with the files from the third day of footage it did not render properly. This was because we used two different cameras with different settings which had different frames per second of 25 and 30. this delayed us a whole session which all the files had to be converted all again.

Whilst editing we thought of some ways which we could use some stills to import into our print products.
Here are all the images we too which we will now ask for audience feedback on which is the best images to use for our print products.

Final day of filming
This day was the final day of film which we had to finish everything off and submit it. We were under a lot of pressure to get everything done. At this time of the year it got dark very quick so we calculated that we have until 16:00 to film all the way up to scene 4 to get everything done. As time passed we found that we had ran out of time but we had got most of the shots taken. At 20:00 after break we headed to Mayfair to shoot the Mayfair scene. we could not get to film on the bus because the bus was too buy at this time of the night.
Here are some of the location shots we used.

Second day of filming
We have now completed our second day of filming which was aimed to reshoot most of the first scene shots in better quality. The adjustments to the scripts were made so when had to film these new parts. We also re-shot the scenes where the lighting conditions were dark which was mostly scene 5. We did not complete the all of the scenes and the scene in Mayfair. When we go back to college we will look at the shots we got so far and make an analysis of what needs to be done again and what needs to be added. Looking back on this day I think our time management had improved from before but, we need to make a better effort to get more done due to our time running out.

First day of filming
After the pre production we went straight into filming and arranging a date to film.“We had a little problem with one
of the actors Jabz where he could not make the meeting time until after 4pm.
The problem was that according the script, there is a power cut. That means we
cannot film at dark because we would not have any natural light. This means the
camera will be very dark when filming. We resolved this by myself acting and
filling in the space of the character Jabz. We also changed the name to Jordan.”
Looking back on our footage later in the day I found that some of the footage could not be used because it was too dark and some shots was over exposed to light and bleached out. On a larger screen I found that not all the shots were not in focus, so we will have to film again.
Overall it was a different experience and somethings to consider for next time.
Another problem we discovered was
we never had a hard copy of the storyboard, most of the shot we took was not
according to the storyboard. This meant that we used up a lot of our time and
was not very efficient. As a result we only got up to scene 3 in our script.
Towards the end we found ourselves rushing because it was getting dark.
